1. The Brim Ceilidh BIG Band - 4 or 5 musicians

This line up is a full 5 piece band and is generally

suited and used for bigger corporate events, festivals or

larger spaces. Generally where there is a larger venue and

upwards of 120+ guests. The line up consists of Caller,

Accordion (Lead), Bass Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Fiddle,

2. The Brim Standard Ceilidh - 3 musicians (most popular choice)

Our most popular line-up used for weddings and parties. Includes 

Caller, Accordion (Lead), Rhythm Guitar and Fiddle. Our ceilidhs are

usually 2 hours plus a short break in the middle. We find this is the

most popular duration and can be shorter if needed with a longer or

The price you will be quoted includes:

• 3 Musicians (Regular band size and includes; Accordion, Guitar and Fiddle).

• Option of a 4th musician (Banjo)

3. The Brim Duo Ceilidh - 2 musicians

This is our smallest line up with 2 musicians in the band

(Caller with Accordion and Guitar). This will still provide an excellent

upbeat and lively sound with a dancing experience similar to the

other options. The main advantage of this line up is primarily around 

tighter budgeting e.g. as fund raising events, smaller budgets or

where there is limited space for musicians. We do some of our very

popular public ceilidhs with this line-up.

4. DJ / Disco

We partner with a local DJ to provide a complete evening Party Package* - Start

your evening with a ceilidh and finish with a disco! This package allows for ease

of communication in the planning of your event and will ensure the evening runs

smoothly from start to finish. We have worked on events jointly before and find

this combination very popular for weddings and corporate events as well as

smaller events such as birthdays and anniversaries. Email DJ Forrest direct to

5. Wedding Ceremony & Reception Music

'Dowr Glas Duo' ('Water' & 'Gray' in Cornish) comprise two musicians (Annie Baylis and Lukas Drinkwater) who can add an authentic touch of musical class and originality to your special day with instrumental covers of your favourite love songs. Both Annie and Lukas are very well established musicians with comprehensive music backgrounds (see About Us page for more information). 6. PA Sound Equipment Hire

If you would like to use our PA sound system for your event, wedding reception speeches or to play your own music playlist through, we can provide this as part of the ceilidh booking. We can be available throughout the day to set up and assist with this as necessary. Our PA can also be used for other musicians and singers to perform as part of your event although this will be limited to solo artists and some duos.​​​
